CUSTOMER TESTIMONIALS:

The collar is working well to prevent my cat from an obsessive licking of her left hip.
She rests and sleeps in it comfortably which was my biggest problem with other things I have tried.
(Sandra in Pennsylvania, 6/29/09)

The Collar is working quite well. I really am thrilled to have it. As I mentioned in my previous email, because of the long body and long legs of my [cat], he can get in a position to reach and scratch, but rarely, and I see no damage at this time. The thickeness is perfect but actually about 4in. instead of 3 in. in diameter would have worked better for him.

I plan on bringing the packaging to my vet as I know they have only those nasty hard plastic cone collars and the worthless disposable ones. He may want to try yours.

Thanks again for saving the day.
(Shari in Illinois, 4/27/09)

It worked great! We tried other collars and ways to keep our cat from licking a sore spot and your collar has been the most successful!

PetsGuard Foam Cat Collar

  Just $15.97 USD per collar

(plus low-cost First Class Mail shipping - domestic or International)

This NEW product (patent pending), is a welcome replacement for the plastic cone collar often prescribed by your veterinarian when your cat has an injury, surgery or allergies that result in obsessive licking & scratching or fur pulling.

The PetsGuard Collar is easy to use and cats don't mind wearing it. It's light as air and comfortable! We've tested it on many cats in many different situations...

Simply place the collar over your cat's head. It should be tight when going over the head, so it will fit his neck, which is smaller. If you cannot get it over the cat's head, remove ONLY ONE of the 1/4 sizing slices at a time (see photo on Fitting/Care page). Try the collar again. Once you've found a comfortable fit, your set!

After a short adjustment period, your cat can now eat, drink, sleep, walk and use his box with the collar on. In fact, the soft foam acts as a pillow when your cat lays down to relax or sleep.

MORE SUCCESS STORIES:

I must tell you that we never had a single problem with the collar! I put it on [my cat] and he never fought it at all. He's been wearing it for 2 full weeks, the sore is healed and we have been very pleased with your product. We were never able to keep a plastic collar on him in the past. Your product has done it's job perfectly.  I will recommend your product to friends and family.

(Tracy in Medford, Oregon 12/25/2007)

9/2/07 - I’ve hated putting one of those stiff plastic collars on my cats. They can’t sleep well and eating is extremely difficult and messy. I ordered the PetsGuard and what a difference! My cats don’t mind the collar and can still get around and eat easily without something cutting into their shoulders. I highly recommend this to anyone with a cat and I wish the vet’s office carried these instead of those horrible hard plastic cones.

(Laurie in El Dorado, California)

7/1/07 - Rosemary (pictured below) has a wound in the neck and it's located right where the plastic cone collar is, so its just irritating the wound instead of helping to heal it. Several times the wound has healed nicely, just lacking some fur, but as soon as I remove the collar, she scratches until it bleeds, which led to me putting plastic thing back on, wound healed again, removing collar, she scratches… etc. This cat is driving me crazy and at the same time I feel so sorry for her, because I see that she gets really depressed when being forced into that plastic thing. Feels like I've tried everything, so I got quite happy when I saw your auction!

The wound is caused by an allergic reaction she got when being castrated, this was around 6mths old, she’s now a year... so we've been struggling for quite some time.

7/13/07: Collar still working fine :-)
Cheers,
Sofia in Sweden
