About Us

We've been raising kittens in Foster Care for our local county animal shelter for more than ten years. In addition to kittens, we've also housed and found homes for various adult cats and dogs. We've raised and/or sheltered close to one hundred (100) pets over the past 10 years. It's a labor of love and we enjoy most of it.

The toughest part is nursing the animals back to health, especially when their illness is a mystery. In addition to typical animal diseases, cats & dogs seem to be developing human-type illnesses, including all kinds of allergies (corn, wheat, seafood, dust mites, grass pollen, cat dander!, beef, chicken, etc.). It's a challenge to identify the problem and make the animal as comfortable as possible in the proccess.

This is the reason we designed and are now manufacturing the PetsGuard foam cat collar. We've found that this design provides comfort & distraction to most cats that are obsessively licking, scratching and/or pulling out their fur - for whatever reason.

The foam collar was initially designed for Big Guy (the chubby black & silver tabby on the "Order Here" page), a cat who came to us with Upper Respiratory Infection (like a BAD cold in humans) and developed allergies while at our home. Using the foam collar was the only way to get him to stop scratching so his sores could finally heal. Big Guy is now a happy cat who has only occasional allergy flare-ups - which the PetsGuard foam collar also help with.

We hope this product helps hundreds of cats all over the world. We know our collar is more comfortable than the plastic cone collars that most veterinarians prescribe. PLUS, we offer a money back guarantee, so you have nothing to lose!

"Bunny" (left) and "Gabby" (below) were born in a feral colony in Jacksonville, Oregon. While I was helping the older gentleman who owned the property trap the adult cats, we were lucky to find these cuties (plus another sister "Shadow") at just 4 weeks old.  They got used to living with people quickly and are now wonderful, loving pets.

The "Three Amigos" below are from the 2 litters pictured above. The two striped brothers were adopted by the same family, and "Grey bear" (middle) went home with another kitten for company.
